WRNS DJ Chase Adams

At the early age of 6 Chase first picked up microphone and guitar and started recording on cassette tapes. That’s when he knew music is where he needed to be. At the age of 10 he had gotten his first DJ mixer and fell in love with the art of mixing and hasn’t stopped Dj’ing since. Chase enjoys hunting, fishing and camping with friends and family. He also loves going out to different area bars and restaurants with his friends while watching sports and enjoying great food and drinks. Chase loves singing, especially doing karaoke as well as being in the studio recording new music.

will be on sale beginning at 10:30 am at the corner of Caswell & Herritage Streets. After the judging of each of the former champion’s hogs is finished the tasting will begin.

Plein Air Paint Out is an annual event sponsored by the Community Council for the Arts.
This is an official event of the BBQ Festival on the Neuse. Plein Air Paint Out allows artists to participate in a juried exhibition and show. Artists paint Wednesday, May 1 beginning at 9 a.m. until Saturday, May 4. Artists’ works must be submitted on Saturday, May 4, at the Kinston Arts Council for judging by a nationally-known plein air artist. The Jurors’ Awards ceremony is Saturday, May 4, at the Kinston Arts Council. The awards ceremony, reception and wet paint sale is open to the public.

The festival area and streets are closed to vehicles and parking. Parking is in the former J.C. Penney parking lot at Vernon Park Mall. Shuttles will pick up visitors every 15 minutes.
Queen Street Methodist Church
